The story of “Perfect World” starts with a reunion between the heroine and her first love who is now confined to a wheelchair. It is a complicated love story about people with disabilities and how they deal with difficulties in work, life and love affair.
Iwata plays the hero Itsuki Ayukawa, an architect whose lower half of his body is injured in an accident and becomes confined to a wheelchair.

Tsugumi Kawana (Hana Sugisaki) works for an interior design company. She goes to a drinking party at a client’s architectural office and happens to meet Itsuki Ayukawa (Takanori Iwata), her first love and her senior from high school.
Tsugumi could not hold back her feelings for Itsuki, yet he is physically disabled in an accident and lives in a wheelchair.
At first Tsugumi says to herself: “I cannot fall in love with him.”
But she is attracted to Itsuki who is honest just as in the past. She finds that she cannot stop loving him even she bottled up her love for him…

It is the first time for me to play a manga character and a disabled character.
It is a complicated story about sharing a life with your loved one who has physical disabilities. To get close to the character, I will learn my part by heart and present a remarkable performance.
